Rural School transport for children from remote regions

Mission : Design and provide transportation for school children living between 5 and 13 km away from the nearest school.

Objective  : Fight school drop out especially for girls.

Model  : Identify the priorities zones in cooperation with authorities and negotiate with trade representative of private rural taxi owners a uniformed yearly rate. Implement a subscription system.
Average cost: USD 63 per year, per child.

Footprint : Siliana, Lekef, Mahdia, Guebili, ­Jendouba, Sidi Bouzid.

Accomplishments : 3700 pupils transported in 2011-2012 and 4800 in 2013-2014.
